Mark O’Hara, MD, is a graduate of the University of Rochester and Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, followed by his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr O’Hara is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania where he concentrates on the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies. His research is focused on early phase clinical trials in pancreatic and colon cancers, with particular focus in CAR T cell therapy, CD40 agonists, and other novel immunotherapies. He is a member of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy and several Stand Up to Cancer Pancreatic Cancer Convergence Teams.
