Following the guidance of leading public health and medical experts to limit large gatherings of people in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy is postponing the ACGT 2020 Cancer Summit until later this year.
With many of our speakers and attendees working in research labs and clinics in hospital, university and company settings, some in close daily proximity to patients, we must hold the health and safety of people above all else and postpone the event until the spread of COVID-19 has subsided. Necessary travel restrictions by FDA and many of the top institutions have limited the ability to provide our incredible lineup of speakers until such restrictions have been lifted.
The ACGT 2020 Investigator Awards, Finalists Challenge will be conducted by video conference; further information will be forthcoming.
We remain committed to advancing cancer cell and gene therapies for patients and look forward to relaunching the ACGT 2020 Cancer Summit in the Fall of 2020.
Registrants may request a credit for the rescheduled Summit, request a refund, or may transfer their purchase to a donation to Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy. Please reach out to Ashley Slane, Foundation Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org to process your request.
Please contact Barbara Lavery, Chief Program Officer, email@example.com with any questions or concerns.
We hope to see you later this year! Stay healthy and stay tuned for an announcement regarding rescheduled dates.
